I have over 20 years experience with User Experience Design (UXD), Information Architecture (IA). and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) spanning industry sectors including advertising, banking, marketing, e-commerce and government. I first began my research work in HCI while completing my undergraduate degree at arguably Canada’s top engineering program, Engineering Science – Computer Option at the University of Toronto (U of T). It was at U of T that I worked with Prof. Steve Mann at the EyeTap Personal Imaging Lab. Upon graduation, I performed research on novel mobile input devices at the Samsung Advanced Institute Of Technology (SAIT) in Korea. Upon my return to Canada, I became a research assistant at the Human Media Lab at the School Of Computing at Queen’s University where I completed my Master’s thesis in Computing specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. My thesis explored Physiologically Attentive User Interfaces. After graduation, I have worked on various projects for companies such as Leo Burnett (Arc Worldwide), BBDO (Proximity), CIBC, TD, Canada Post, Gale Partners, Novator, Socal Dynamics Interactive and more.
